About Shared Beginnings Learning Centres

Who We Are

Who We Are

At Shared Beginnings, we believe every child deserves the strongest start in life. More than just early learning centres, we are a community where children feel safe, families feel supported, and educators feel valued.

Founded with a vision to create high-quality, inclusive, and future-focused Early Childhood Education and Care services, Shared Beginnings is guided by the philosophy that learning is most powerful when built on strong relationships. We partner with families, educators, and communities to provide environments where children grow, belong, and thrive.

Our Values

At Shared Beginnings, our values are lived every day:
Play, Learn, Explore
We embrace the natural curiosity of childhood and provide opportunities for discovery.
Child-First Focus
Every decision is made with the child’s well-being and development at its core.
Community & Connection
Families and educators are active partners in creating a sense of belonging.
Safety & Trust
We hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of care and compliance.
Growth for All
We nurture not only children’s learning but also the professional development and well-being of our educators.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to nurture curious, confident, and resilient learners who are ready to embrace life’s opportunities. We do this by embedding play-based learning, child-centred practices, and trauma-informed approaches across every service.

We see ourselves as more than a provider; we are a partner in your child’s early years journey.

Our Leadership

Our Leadership

Shared Beginnings is proudly led by Kim Clifton, an Approved Provider and CEO with over 20 years of hands-on experience in early childhood education and care. With a background as a former NSW Police officer, Kim brings a unique commitment to child safety, compliance, and strong governance. Her leadership ensures that every Shared Beginnings centre operates with the highest standards of quality, transparency, and integrity.

Kim is supported by a dedicated leadership team with deep expertise in pedagogy, operations, and community engagement. Together, they ensure each centre is not only compliant but thriving, providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing space for every child.

Our Commitment

to Child Safety

Shared Beginnings is a child-safe organisation. We are committed to ensuring that children’s rights are respected, their voices are heard, and their safety and well-being are always our top priority. Our centres follow national and state-based child protection laws and implement Child Safe Standards across all services.
